Product description
Lupin Flour is a toasted flour, which is produced out of non-GMO sweet lupin (Lupinus angustifolius). The beans are cleaned, dehulled, splitted, toasted, grinded, sieved and packed. The end product is a yellow powder with a typical taste. Due to the toasting process the product loses its bitterness and digestibility is increased.
Lupin Flour can be used for several food application including the use in shakes, wafers, cookies and cakes. It improves shelf life, gives better emulsifying properties and a good structure and mouthfeel. It can (partially) replace egg and milk proteins.
