Hydrolysed wheat gluten 82 is a high-valuable source of vegetable proteins and it is easily digestible for young animals. The hydrolysing process makes the wheat gluten easily soluble in water. The wheat gluten is activated by a liquid process, allowing it to be separated from the starch component. After isolation, the wheat gluten is first hydrolysed. The end product is then dried again, and finally grounded into a fine cream-coloured powder.
The neutral taste and easy digestibility of hydrolysed wheat gluten 82 makes it an ideal milk replacer for young animals, such as piglets and calves.
