Product description
Chicory pulp granulate is a fibre-rich carbohydrate product. As it contains inulin, it has a positive impact on intestinal health (prebiotic). Chicory pulp granulate also contain pectin, a natural thickener. Chicory pulp is a side stream product of inulin production from chicory roots. During the production process, the roots are thinly sliced and washed. The inulin is subsequently separated, and the chicory pulp is pressed and dried. The result is a light-grey granulate with the typical flavour and aroma of chicory.
Chicory pulp granulate is a healthy source of both soluble and insoluble fibre. This makes the product ideal for animal feed and pet food.
