Product description
Brewers’ yeast is a protein-rich ingredient with a strong amino acid profile. It is also an excellent source of vitamin B, nucleic acids, vitamins and minerals. The ingredient is a by-product from the brewery industry. The active yeasts are firstly collected from the brewery as a liquid, then dried and grounded into a fine powder. Heat treatment is used to inactivate the yeast. The end product is a high-quality animal feed ingredient.
Brewers’ yeast is a high-value, tasty, protein-rich and healthy ingredient for pet food, aquafeed, poultry feed, and young animal feed. Brewers yeast has various nutritional components; its nucleic acids and saccharides (β-glucan, mannan oligosaccharides) boost the immune system and therefore improves the animal health. The characteristic flavour and aroma of brewers yeast enhance its palatability and improve intake by the animals.
